Private by default
Diary text, titles, moods, searches, images and private insights stay out of public and commercial systems.
Privacy
Private writing is sacrosanct.
JournalOn will not inspect private journal content to target advertising, recommend commercial products, build marketing profiles or populate community features.
Sharing is deliberate
Publishing or sharing will require explicit selection, a clear destination and a preview.
Accounts are separate
Registration creates a relationship with JournalOn, not access to a person’s journal.
Choice remains
Core journaling is intended to work without an account, community membership, purchase or sync.
