What we believe
Why this is different
Human to human
No tracking pixels, no affiliate dashboard full of conversion funnels. You share JournalOn because you believe in it — and you earn a Creator Share when someone you referred goes Pro.
Privacy-first referrals
Referral links are simple, clean URLs with no third-party tracking scripts. What happens after the click is not broadcast back to us in real time.
Writers only
The Writer's Circle is for people who actually journal — bloggers, essayists, morning-pages practitioners, notebook collectors. Not for performance marketers or SEO link builders.
Grow together
Circle members get early access to every new Marketplace ritual, advance notice of Pro features, and credit in the Reading Room when their writing contributes to a community essay.

Earn your Creator Share
When someone you referred goes Pro, you receive your Creator Share. Paid monthly. No threshold to hit before your first payment.
Questions
Before you apply
Is there a cost to join?
No. Joining the Writer's Circle is free.
What is the Creator Share?
A percentage of each Pro subscription started by someone you referred. The exact percentage is shared at approval — it is competitive and transparent.
Do I need a large audience?
No. A newsletter with 300 engaged readers who trust your recommendations is more valuable to us than a channel with 30,000 passive followers. Quality over scale.
What if someone cancels their Pro subscription?
Creator Shares are paid on active subscriptions. If a referred user cancels, their share stops. No clawbacks on shares already paid.
Can I be in the Circle without being a Pro user?
Yes — the free journal is complete and useful. You do not need a Pro account to refer others.
How is my referral tracked?
Via a simple first-party URL parameter (?ref=yourname). No third-party tracking scripts. The parameter is stored in localStorage — it persists until the referred user makes a purchase.
